I wanted to express our appreciation for your tireless efforts in creating the ComLink series model CS540. Our initial installation included several other brands such as Motorola, Ritron and Kenwood repeaters. While all of them function, your product has really impressed me with its functions that are standard issue with the CS540. The LTR decoder right on the front of the unit, keypad lock, internal speaker w/volume control all are invaluable to me as a technician when monitoring, servicing and installing the units.

BridgeCom Systems has proven to me they can develop a quality product that has met my expectations and requirements. Interfacing their repeaters with my Trident Raider LTR controllers couldn't have been any easier. They provided excellent technical support that went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a seamless integration at my tower sight. I look forward to and expect more great products and continued excellent service.

You and your staff have really put together an awesome repeater here that is priced right and performs top of the line. As a side note, we had our air conditioner break down shortly after we installed your boxes. The transmitter room temperature got as high as 109 degrees. I am happy to report that the CS540 never missed a beat! It just kept going and going even though it was our home channels and they were transmitting virtually non-stop!

My name is Gerald Kerler. I have had my CS540 for approx. 3 months. It operates flawless and is very easy to make programming changes. I think, if you compare features and quality recieved for dollars spent, the BridgeCom will win hands down. Ron Kochanowicz at BridgeCom is good to work with and will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

UPDATE  (2-2009)

I am very pleased with the repeater.  I have it at a remote site on my farm.  About 100' HAAT with the Tram 6.5db antenna about 15' off the ground.  It is powered by two deep cycle marine batteries.  It gets about 15 to 20 minutes of talk time a day at 15 watts.  I change the batteries (2) out about every 28 to 32 days and they are still in every case between 11.65 to 11.85.  Starting voltage is around 13.25 give or take a tenth.  The repeater is truly a mizer on power consumption.  By the way, that is with the display backlite OFF.  Come spring, the antenna goes from 15' to 70', 80 to 100 watt solar panels and increase the on site batteries to 4.  So at that point, it should be good for all situations........

Installed the repeater at the remote site June or July of 2007.  By the way, the repeater is not fussy about its enviorment.  It lives in a 1960s vintage Motorola Outdoor waterproof cabinet that I refurbed.  So the only temperature / humidity control is the floor and side vents get closed in the winter and open in the summer.  The batteries are in a seperate insulated box outside the cabinet.  The antenna mast is attached to the cabinet.  So by that you can see that Bridgecom repeaters do not require a fancy high dollar climate controlled home........
