| Mobile Duplexers MR-2222 | MR-2332 |
The MR-2222 is an extremely compact 4-cavity duplexer designed for use in the 148-174 MHz frequency band. The use of low loss internal components and copper center conductors produce a unit which delivers superior performance in conventional mobile applications. Its size and versatility make this an ideal unit for use where space is limited. |
The MR-2332 duplexer is a 6-cavity mini-duplexer similar to the MR-2222. It provides much higher isolation with only a minimal increase in insertion loss. This highly versatile duplexer is ideal for limited space applications. | MR-254 | MR-256 |
The MR-254 is a compact mobile duplexer for use in the 148-174 MHz frequency band.It utilizes four rugged, carefully temperature compensated helical resonators housed in a ightweight, aluminum extrusion. |
The MR-256 utilizes the same construction techniques as the MR-254, with the addition of two resonators (one for transmit and one for receive) to provide the added isolation required in some systems. | | MR-354 | MR-356 |
|
| The MR-354 is a compact mobile duplexer for use in the 406-512 MHz frequency band. It utilizes four, carefully temperature compensated resonators housed in a rugged lightweight aluminum extrusion. | The MR-356 utilizes the same construction techniques as described in the MR-354, with the addition of two resonators (one for transmit and one for receive) to provide the added isolation that is required in some systems. |
The MR-3332 is a very compact mobile duplexer for use in the 406-512 MHz frequency band. It utilizes six temperature compensated helical resonators in an "In- Line" configuration. Superior quality internal components such as silver-plated center conductors reduce loss and provide optimum performance. | MR-454 / MR-456 | Sinclair's MR series of mobile duplexers has been expanded to include 4- and 6-cavity models for the 806-960 MHz frequency range. These compact units are fabricated from lightweight, rugged aluminum extrusion, which affords maximum structural integrity. Carefully temperature-compensated resonators are designed to minimize variations due to changing operating environments. These duplexers provide superior performance for trunking and conventional applications, and may also be used as low-power base station duplexers. Standard units are supplied with BNC connectors, but a number of special mounting and alternate connector and cavity configurations are available upon request. |
Base Station Duplexers | P-201 GR |
The P-201G bandpass duplexer combines Sinclair's high Q bandpass cavities into a unit of superior performance in the 132-174 MHz range. These duplexers are easily field-tunable and feature rotatable lops for selectivity settings other than the performance detailed below for 0.5 dB per-cavity loss. In addition, vernier tuning is provided for fine frequency adjustments. Because of carefully designed temperature compensation, frequency drift over the operating temperature ranges extremely small, typically 0.5 ppm/°C. These duplexers are available in rack-mounted or cabinet configurations.

The P-4440-E combines the low loss of a Res-Lok™ aperture-coupled filter on transmit, with the high selectivity of a combline filter on receive, making it the ideal choice for single antenna operation of trunking base stations. The Res-Lok™ 4-cavity bandpass section has typically 0.5 dB insertion loss and provides 50 dB of noise suppression, which, when added to the typically 35-40 dB noise suppression provided by most cavity ferrite transmitter combiner, results in nearly 90dB noise suppression overall. The 6-pole combline filter on the receive side provides over 85 dB carrier suppression, a figure that is more than adequate for most system applications. In addition, both the transmit and receive bandpass windows are a full 15 MHz wide, a fact which allows sparing of this component on a multi-site basis without the need to have facilities for retuning. | | Electrical Specifications | | P-4440E | P4440E-2 | | Frequency Range | MHz | 806-894 | | Frequency Separation | MHz | 45 | | Bandwidth(approx.) | MHz | 15 | | Insertion Loss | dB | | | Tx to Ant. | | 0.5 typ. | | Rx to Ant. | | 1.2 typ. | 0.5 typ. | | Isolation | dB | | | Tx noise suppression at Rx | | 50 | | Rx isolation at Tx | | 85 | 50 | | Maximum Input VSWR | | 1.5:1 | | Maximum Input Power | Watts | 400 | | Termination | | 'N' Female | | Temperature Range | | -30°C to +60°C |

| The Q301G base station duplexer utilizes Sinclair's Q-circuit design in a 6-cavity configuration to provide very high attenuation at extremely close frequency separation in the 406-512 MHz band. This design provides a quasi-bandpass response, resulting in suppression of spurious and side-band transmitter noise between and adjacent to the duplex frequencies. The Q-302G is available in either rack-mounted, Q-301GR, or cabinet enclosed, Q-301GC, configuration. | Q318G(picture not available) | | | The Q-318G is a 4-cavity duplexer, similar to the Q-301G, for use with frequency separations down to 2Mhz in the 4.06-512 MHz band. It is available in either rack-mounted, Q-318GR, or cabinet enclosed, Q-318GC configuration | The Q-4220E duplexer utilizer Res-Lok™ construction to achieve maximum performance in an extremely compact package. The Q-4220E is ideally suited for 45 MHz Tx to Rx separation, but may also be ordered for spacing as low as 3.6 MHz. | | Q-3220C (picture not available) When rack space is the prime consideration, this 4-cavity very compact duplexer is ideal. It is designed to provide optimum performance for systems with 5MHz frequency separation operati9ng in the 450-470 MHz frequency band.Typically low insertion loss and high isolation, characteristic of all Sinclair Q-circuit Res-Lok™ duplexers, is achieved with this unit. | | Q-3330C (picture not available) Similar to the Q-3220C duplexer, this very compact unit provides enhanced isolation characteristics through the addition of two cavities. The entire 6-cavity duplexer mounts in a standard 19 inch rack, occupying only 4.17 inches of vertical space. | Q-3220EDesigned for operation in the 406-512 MHz band, while conserving valuable rack space. At 5 MHz separation, this unit provides isolation in excess of 75dB with less than 1.0 dB insertion loss. Q-3330E The 6-cavity Res-Lok™ duplexer is designed to provide 1 MHz pass band and reject notch where frequency separation is 5 Mhz. Operating in the 406-512 MHz frequency band, it provides typical minimum isolation of 85 dB at maximum insertion loss of 1.2 dB. | | Specifications | | Electrical Specifications | | Q-3220E | Q-3330E | Frequency Range | MHz | 406-512 | Frequency Separation | MHz | 5 min. | Insertion Loss | dB | | | Tx to Ant. | | 0.8 min. | 1.2 min. | Rx to Ant. | | 0.8 min. | 1.2 min. | Isolation | dB | | | Tx noise suppression at Rx | | 75 min. | 85 min. | Rx isolation at Tx | | 75 min. | 85 min. | Maximum Input VSWR | | 1.5:1 | Maximum Input Power | Watts | 350 | Termination | | 'N' Female | Temperature Range | | -40C to +60°C |

| R-104GC (picture not available) | The R-104GC Band Reject Duplexer utilizes the same helical resonators as R-101GC, in a 6-cavity configuration for application in those systems where the close separation and high isolation of the R-101GC are not required. Minimum spacing for the R-104GC is 500 kHz. | | | R-101GC (picture not available) | The R-101GC Band Reject Duplexer provides extremely high isolation for separation at a minimum of 300 kHz in the 30-50 MHz frequency range. The use of carefully temperature-compensated helical resonators, in conjunction with the reject notch design, allow the 8-cavity duplexer to be housed in a cabinet 22 inches wide, 18 inches deep and only 66 inches high. Comparable performance utilizing conventional quarter-wave resonators would require a cabinet nearly twice as high, with four times the volume. |
